Practice Shifting
1. Notice the Sensation- Bring your attention to where the feeling lives in your body. Is it tight, heavy, spinning, burning, frozen, or something else?
2. Give It Color and Shape- Imagine the sensation as a color, texture, or shape.
3. Flip the Script- Now imagine its opposite:
Tight → Open
Heavy → Light
Dark → Bright
Hot → Cool
Red → Blue
Crooked → Straight
Shaky → Steady
Heavy → Lifted
4. Transform It-Visualize the old sensation dissolving and flipping into the new one. Watch as the color, texture, or motion shifts before your eyes.
5. Absorb the Change-Bring the new sensation into your body. Let it fill the space where the discomfort once lived. Notice how your body feels as the script changes.
